Opioid Settlement Grant Opportunities

Overview

From 2022 through 2038, the State of Indiana is distributing opioid settlement funds to local governments through national litigation against pharmaceutical companies. These funds are designated for evidence-based strategies to prevent and reduce opioid addiction and its impact.

The City of Lafayette will receive approximately $3.37 million in Restricted Opioid Funds over this period. For 2025, the City will award $500,000 in grant funding to eligible organizations addressing prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction related to opioid use.
