Overview
From 2022 through 2038, the State of Indiana is distributing opioid settlement funds to local governments through national litigation against pharmaceutical companies. These funds are designated for evidence-based strategies to prevent and reduce opioid addiction and its impact.
The City of Lafayette will receive approximately $3.37 million in Restricted Opioid Funds over this period. For 2025, the City will award $500,000 in grant funding to eligible organizations addressing prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction related to opioid use.

September 2, 2025 | RFA Opens. Applications may be submitted via email to clerks@lafayette.in.gov or delivered to the Clerk’s Office (City Hall, 2nd Floor, 20 N 6th Street). |
September 30, 2025 (12:00 PM Noon) | RFA Closes. Late submissions will not be accepted. |
October 1–31, 2025 | Optional interviews with applicants (if requested). |
November 3, 2025 | Award announcements and grant agreements issued. |
