Become a Rain Guardian and be a steward of our local ecosystem! This Adopt-A-Spot initiative empowers individuals and groups to take ownership of designated rain gardens, promoting community involvement and environmental sustainability.
Participants will keep rain gardens clean and functioning by removing accumulated trash on a weekly basis. In return, Rain Guardians will receive a sign posted in their adopted areas acknowledging their commitment to protecting Lafayette’s water resources. No need to pull weeds and no cost to participate!
By volunteering, you will play a crucial role in enhancing biodiversity, reducing stormwater runoff, and beautifying our neighborhoods. Together, we can create vibrant, resilient rain gardens that benefit both people and the planet. Sign up today and make a positive impact in your community!
