Critter Classes

Nothing brings out the natural curiosity of a child the way animals do!  With Critter Classes your child will have the opportunity to learn about wildlife, up-close and hands-on.  Each class focuses on a different animal group.  Games, crafts, and age-appropriate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activities will engage and entertain, letting learning happen naturally.  Each session includes a live animal encounter.  Supervised outings to zoo exhibits may be included, weather permitting. This program is for ages 5 to 7 years old.

2020 Critter Classes Fees

$18 per session, Non-Members (Members save 15%)

SEASON PASSES available at a discounted fee, for a limited time. Season pass discounts COMBINE with Member discounts for big savings!  See registration form or contact the Zoo Education Office for details.

Advance registration required.  For everyone’s enjoyment, unregistered children (including siblings) may not attend.  This class is designed to be a drop-off program, however adults who choose to stay and observe are permitted to do so.
