[ARCHIVED] Pooch Plunge is BACK!

It's time for the annual Pooch Plunge event at Castaway Bay! Join us on Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8 from 5-8PM for a paw-sitively fun-filled dog swim event. Hosted by Lafayette Parks & Recreation, this year's Pooch Plunge will feature giveaways and goodies!
Cost: Just $10 for the first dog, $5 for a second dog per night; limit 2 dogs per person/per night, limit 2 people per registration. You can register online here - or call our office at (765) 807-1500.
Dog owners MUST provide vet certificate proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for their dog(s) when they register (or show at the gate). A rabies tag on the collar is NOT sufficient. Note that current Dog Park members will have certification on file. (Email: dogpark@lafayette.in.gov)
RULES:
1. Dog owners MUST provide vet certificate proof of rabies vaccination for their dog/s when they register. A rabies tag on the collar is NOT sufficient.
2. All dogs must be on leash until they are in the event area at the pool.
3. Children under the age of 12 years old are not permitted to attend Pooch Plunge.
4. Children ages 12-15 years old must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times while attending Pooch Plunge.
5. There is a LIMIT of TWO dogs and TWO people per registration.
6. Dogs must be at least four months old.
7. Owners MUST pick up after their dogs.
8. Female dogs in heat will NOT be allowed.
9. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave the pool.
10. No human or dog food/treats will be allowed in the pool area.
11. For health and safety reasons, people will NOT be allowed in the pool except to help a struggling dog. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED – (There is NO chlorine in the pool.)
12. Please know your dog's swimming abilities and know when to take a break, should your dog appear to be getting overly tired.
