The Zoo is now accepting applications for Spring 2018 Internships in Animal Care, Education, or Marketing. Deadline to apply is 5pm on November 10, 2017.
The Columbian Park Zoo Internship program is a unique opportunity for current college students and recent graduates to build relevant job skills in a hands-on learning environment. All academic majors are encouraged to apply. Internship opportunities include areas such as general exotic animal care, education, and marketing.
Applicants accepted into the Spring Internship program will be required to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week, and those with greater availability are encouraged to apply. A minimum 12-week commitment is required from January to April. All internships are unpaid. Housing and transportation are the responsibility of the intern. Flexible scheduling is available, including weekends, to accommodate most class and work schedules.
