Allowing one of two chickens in people's home backyards would be beneficial in many ways. Limiting the number (maybe 2-4?) would insure containment. No roosters would keep noise down. Most progressive city communities in Indiana already allow chickens in backyards. This would help with feeding households and add to the sense of community.

This program will benefit a small group, God willing... more, in young adults in procession of local legislation and embody them in Historical Indiana.

I would like to suggest an upgrade to Kennedy Park on Sequoya Drive in Lafayette. As it sits, there have been no upgrades since the 80's. I would suggest a playground, a swingset, tables/benches, maybe a picnic shelter or two and a grill. I'd love to be able to have a park in our area that's used.
